The Band

Featuring one of the most entertaining and exciting horn sections in the industry

This fabulous variety, dance and show band has been thrilling audiences throughout the Southwest since 1989.

Souled Out specializes in the "Big Chill" sound and is the perfect group for nearly any event.

Souled Out's repertoire includes hits from the '50s through the '90s with a little current material mixed in. The versatility of the group also allows them to perform favorites from the 1940's "Big Band Era" as well as light jazz for dinner parties and other special occasions.

Souled Out and their members have opened for, or performed with: Frankie Avalon, Leslie Gore, The Grass Roots, Leon Russell, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, Firefall, The Four Tops, The O'Jays, The Temptations, The Drifters, Wayne Newton, The Supremes, and many others.

Souled Out, and their members, have entertained the following clients: The Oklahoma Dental Association, The Oklahoma Bar Association, The Oklahoma Medical Association, The Canterbury Chorale Society, The Beaux Arts Debutante' Ball, The Bachelor's Club Debutante' Ball, The Oklahoma Medical Association, The Oklahoma Press Association, Devon Energy Corporation, The Williams Corporation, The Oklahoma Heritage Association, Chesapeake Energy Corporation, The Tulsa Area March of Dimes, The Edmond Women's Club Ball, The Women of the South Charity Ball, The Tulsa Ballet, and many others throughout the Southwest including numerous weddings and black-tie events.

Souled Out has also been featured as one of the Southwest's top wedding bands in "MODERN BRIDE" magazine.

Steve Gibson

(guitar and vocals) has more than 40 years of experience with rock and variety bands throughout the Southwest. Steve has performed with Leslie Gore, Firefall, The Grass Roots, Frankie Avalon, and many others.

Kevin Rollin

(drums and vocals) is one of the most knowledgeable percussionists you'll find, also with 40 years experience in a wide variety of styles. Kevin's memorable performances include those with Leon Russell, The Grass Roots, Frankie Avalon, and many others.

Gary Riley

(Bass and Vocals) is an accomplished musician on many instruments including: bass, guitar, saxophone, keyboard, harmonica, and others. With more than 20 years experience, Gary has performed with The Four Tops, The Temptations, the national road show of HAIRSPRAY, jazz great Phil Woods, and various blues bands throughout the Midwest including Chicago.

Amy Leming

(Keyboard, Saxophone, and Vocals), is the newest member of Souled Out with incredible talent and a great future. From Gloria Gaynor and Aretha Franklin to Bonnie Rait and Norah Jones, Amy covers all of the female vocals with ease and sounds great doing it!

David Smith

(Saxophone) is a product of the University of Central Oklahoma's jazz and commercial music program. David has performed with many greats of the music world including: The Temptations, The O'Jays, and The Drifters and many others along with performances on various cruise lines.

Ron West

(Trumpet), another product of U.C.O., has performed with Frankie Avalon, The Grass Roots, Leon Russell, and many others throughout his 25 years including performances in Disney's Magic Kingdom and throughout Europe.

Jeff Kidwell

(Trombone and Vocals) has a long resume including performances with The Temptations, The Supremes, The O'Jays, The Four Tops, The Shirells, Wayne Newton, Frankie Avalon, and many others. Another product of U.C.O., Kidwell is the Assistant Director of Jazz Studies and Jazz Lab Operations at the University of Central Oklahoma.
